Beautiful place nice ambience just right to cheer your day up

Amazing food, wickedly good pastries, fresh coffee, fair prices

"Five stars for Sorelle! I recently placed a catering order and the experience was seamless. Lucia was incredible—she managed every detail and made sure the delivery was perfectly timed. To top it off, they surprised me with a special birthday treat! Thank you, Lucia and team, for the amazing hospitality.

What a wonderful place to get fresh food that tastes great and is 100% in line with their model dishes sitting out so there is no room for interpretation. You get exactly what they already show you with all of the entree plates sitting out (for show). The food was fresh, hot and delicious. They have an amazing variety as well. This is a high-quality establishment with value pricing!

Visited today with the family. The ambiance, food, drinks, desserts, music, and service were all excellent. Highly recommend!

We had a semi-private event for my daughter’s birthday with a total of 20 guests. Lucia, the event manager, was lovely to work with and she was very responsive and really cared about our experience and what we needed. Food and service was exceptional. Lucia made sure the food would be kept warm throughout the event and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed any more drinks and etc. Obviously, the space was really beautiful as well so even with minimal decor prep on my end, it was such a great environment.

We’re so excited Sorelle is in Glenview! It’s a very beautiful lunch spot and in a great location in the Glen. It’s kid-friendly and they have delicious pastries. Must try the pistachio croissant! We recently hosted a private party there and everything was perfect! The food, service and atmosphere was just right. It was a super easy process working with Lucia. Recommend!

Sorelle is a wonderful Italian spot in Glenview. We really enjoyed the experience overall. The coffee is excellent, the croissants are outstanding, and the desserts are absolutely delicious. You can really tell there’s care and quality behind the food. The ambiance is another highlight — great atmosphere, tasteful décor, and very pleasant music that makes the experience even better. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the front desk organization, but it’s nothing critical and does not take away from the overall experience. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back.

We've gone to the Long Grove location previously and were excited about their new Glenview location, as it's much closer for us. We went for the first time Dec 21 and of course had a great meal and had a nice chat with the manager, Danny. Just after Christmas I was looking for a place to get together with some family and choose Sorelle, even tho we just ate there! Once again everything was wonderful! Bolognese, Shrimp diavolo, pear and arugula salad, paninis, and the desserts! Sicilian canolli, tiramisu and pistachio panna cotta are our favorites! But all of it would pale if not for the lovely ambience and especially the staff. Danny was so friendly and helpful and really added to a wonderful time! Highly recommend!!

I love this place!! Sorrelle at The Glen (Glenview) is a true Italian gem... bright, lemony Amalfi vibes, real espresso, and an atmosphere that brings you back to the old world. Perfect for social gatherings. The arancini are the best in Chicagoland, truly authentic to Palermo. The pastries are rich and unforgettable—a must with coffee for catching up with friends. Come for coffee and sweets, stay for lunch or dinner; It’s a must-try for foodies. Plus, there’s a great wine lineup with Nero d’Avola and Etna-style picks, along with plenty of Italian aperitivi. A gem every neighborhood would be lucky to cherish.

An excellent place to enjoy a delicious meal, while being entertained( check the schedule first). Staff is attentive and cheerful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Where do I start? I never leave reviews good or bad, all I am going to say it’s your loss and life's WAY too short not to eat at this establishment. Sorelle is on a totally different level. The owners of this place are amazing throw back humans from a great great time long ago. Do yourself a favor and patronize what will probably be the best restaurant you will ever eat at again.

So comfortable for an afternoon lunch with good food and live music. Great atmosphere and decor.

Amazing!!!! The prettiest setting that transported me back to Sicily. We had the pastries and cappuccino and it was fantastic! Seriously just like Europe. Can’t wait to come back and try the food! Also love that they decorated for Christmas and have Christmas songs playing. Cozy cozy cozy!

Great atmosphere & food!

Food is absolutely delicious! Service is good and everyone is very friendly! And the decoration of the restaurant is beautiful inside too. Highly recommended!

Unbelievably good experience with this brand new restaurant in Glenview. We ordered three different items (pizza, pasta and a panino) and all were excellent. Everything tasted very fresh and high quality. We also added a cannoli, cookie and gelato for dessert. The cannoli is the best I've ever had. Additionally, the restaurant is very nicely decorated. And was amazed at how good the service was. I expect hiccups with a new restaurant, but they very clearly knew what they were doing. Line was a little long at the counter to order, but they quickly opened up another ordering station to alleviate that. On top of how good the food was, the prices were extremely reasonable. Check came out to about $15/person for food that could have easily justified a higher price. We will definitely be going back frequently.

There’s no where around like this place, the food was outstanding. pricing is very reasonable. The dishes are fresh and homemade, The ambiance speaks for itself owners did a great job with the decorating. Highly recommend.

I’m so glad they opened this in Glenview! Going to the one in long grove was a bit of a hike, but always worth it. Same owners, same delicious food, awesome service…such a cute atmosphere and super cute decor! Everything here is good, but particularly like the cherry tomato garlic pasta and fusilli bolognese. Highly recommend any of their desserts. The pistachio croissant is to die for, and we asked to get our chocolate chip cookie warmed up and it was absolute perfection in a bite. We all ate way too much and over stuffed ourselves but that’s what happens when you get legit Italian food, am I right??? They have specialty cocktails too, we all liked the limoncello spritzer. There’s a melon drink that George brought around for us, literally tastes like cantaloupe in liquid form, or for those of you who are familiar with it, Melona bars. Can’t wait to come back again!

Me & my husband loved it here!! Fast & efficient. Delicious food & pastries. Cutest interior decoration & very cozy. Truly one of the best cafes/italian places I’ve had. Prices were very reasonable as well. Definitely will be a regular & will absolutely recommend visiting Sorelle!!

Very friendly attentive staff. The decor was amazing and very cozy. Dine in for 2 with drinks was only 19.50 which is amazing for the quality of the food. The square tuscan style 48 hour rise pizza was amazing. Can't wait to come back!

I stopped into this new family owned Italian restaurant/market and it completely exceeded my expectations!! The food was incredibly flavorful and tasted like something straight from a nonnas kitchen. The space feels warm and welcoming, very kid friendly and the owners clearly put a lot of heart into what they’re doing. We even got to enjoy live opera music during dinner, which made the whole experience feel special. Such a beautiful addition to the neighborhood. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Great addition to the area. Great food, value and taste! Pricing won’t break the bank. The interior is by far the nicest in the area. Enjoy!
