Our Reviews

Overall, an excellent experience. When we walked in, the manager immediately greeted us and gave recommendations on the menu. The staff was very friendly, and even though the inside area was set up more like a casual style restaurant, they offered to take our plates and asked us how the food was. Food was very good, with large portions for an absurdly cheap price. We had the Rigatoni with chicken and the Minestrone Soup, both of which were excellent. Also, we ended our meal with a Gelato, which was graciously on the house. The interior decor was quite nice, but it got a little loud inside the eating area, especially with a singer. Overall, the main draw is the very solid food for an incredible price.

Sorelle has a very pleasant atmosphere, with holiday music and decorations creating the mood. I liked seeing the food items displayed to help with the selection. Tasty food, good portions. Nice staff and an incredibly kind manager who makes sure the customers leave happy.

A friend invited me here for brunch, and we honestly didn’t even know this place existed. The food was amazing and the menu had so many great options… we’re already talking about what we want to try next time!! What really stood out, though, was the service. After years in the restaurant industry, it takes a lot to truly impress me, but the woman taking care of the dining area was so kind and thoughtful. When we told her it was our first time, she explained how everything worked and later surprised us with mini cannolis and a warm welcome back. She kept our coffee full and made us feel genuinely cared for. It meant more than she probably knows, especially since my friend had gotten some bad news earlier that day. That kindness really changed the tone of our morning. We’ll absolutely be back. We didn’t catch your name, but thank you so much ❤️

On December 6, 2025 I had the pleasure of celebrating my friend’s birthday. Lucia Carmel Priola and staff made our celebration a memorable occasion. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. The cannolis were the best, the best I ever had!!! Everything on the menu is always made to perfection. Try the mussels.

I was at Sorelle on Saturday night celebrating my birthday with 2 of my good friends. The food was absolutely delicious the atmosphere was perfect. Lucia who does the catering and event manager made my birthday extra special by bringing us the most delicious cannoli's. She was so friendly and kept coming over to our table talking to us. Sorelle is located in Long Grove and they just opened their second restaurant in Glenview.

Just found out about this adorable boutique Italian Cafe from a friend last week and it's definitely a 5 star experience from start to finish. There are so many options here with regards to a light lunch, pasta dinner or tempting Italian style cannoli, Panna cotta, croissants you may be hard pressed to make up your mind on what to choose. This past Sunday I came here with a good friend of mine and chose the extremely delicious margarita pizza 🍕 which is served as a generous thick slice of bread with tomatoes 🍅 and sauce and also had an iced latte. Today I am here by myself enjoying the happy vibes. I chose a truly yummy Arancini Rice ball with Sicilian meat sauce inside. It's buttery 🧈 and melty and delectable. The outside has a crunchy and crisp texture and the inside portion of rice 🍚 and bolognese...sauce so tasty and melty with cheese dripping off your fork. I am now enjoying a house made Gelato half chocolate and half espresso 😋 This place has been packed on both visits and the Cafe is not just a coffee bar and a wonderful restaurant that serves authentic tasting Italian cuisine. I highly recommend this cute bistro If you're looking for a fun and lively spot to hang out with your friends and family for the holidays.

Came with my wife and daughter Saturday evening for dinner. We were greeted by the manager Don and he talked us through the menu and suggested the Osso Buco, which my wife and I both ordered. It was absolutely amazing. I was very impressed with how quickly our food came out even though they were busy. We will definitely come back!

A really lovely little Italian spot! The menu isn’t huge, but everything they offer is fresh, delicious, and very reasonably priced. One thing I really love is that when you walk in, you can actually see the dishes displayed — it helps so much to choose what you want, and it gives the place a very authentic, home-style feeling. The service is always friendly and welcoming. We visited Italy recently, and this place truly reminded us of those cozy, simple restaurants where the food speaks for itself. Great value, great flavors, and a warm atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

My fiance and I had an engagement here with both of our families and we had an amazing experience! They easily accommodated for a larger group and clearly communicated with us before the dinner to ensure they were prepared with everything we wanted. The staff was so welcoming and attentive when we arrived. They made us feel so special and even surprised us with a card signed by the staff and a congratulatory dessert. The atmosphere was beautiful and the food was amazing! Our whole group did not have enough great things to say about the experience. Would highly recommend!

This gem of a spot is a gift to Lake County. Tonight, our book club went to enjoy the ambiance while engaging in our discussion. There was live entertainment soothing patrons in the background with his melodic vocals. We all had a few bites and meals to share which were delicious. The desserts were picturesque and scrumptious. The service was phenomenal... the manager checked on how we liked our books and our meals. We all cannot wait to return. This setting has something for everyone.

Absolutely loved this spot! The pistachio croissant was hands down the best I’ve ever had—flaky, rich, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Plus, the place itself is super cute, cozy, and welcoming—perfect for a sweet break or a coffee catch-up. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

This adorable Italian restaurant has so many fabulous breakfast options, but on this morning I decided to go with the Egg Bites and they were absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend you try them if you have a chance to. They also have homemade gelato 🍧 and sorbet, that I cannot wait to try because it looks amazing 🤩.

This Italian market is truly a hidden gem. Everything is made fresh right in front of you, and all the ingredients are imported straight from Italy—you can taste the difference. The pistachio cream croissant was a standout: perfectly light, flaky, and had just the right amount of crunch. We also tried the pistachio cannoli, and it was absolutely amazing—crispy shell, smooth filling, and just the right level of sweetness. We had a cortado and a latte as well, and both were made with some of the best espresso I’ve ever had—smooth, rich, and full of flavor. The margherita and fungi pizza squares were equally impressive. The crust was light and crispy, with just the right amount of sauce (not too much, which I always appreciate). Each bite was full of authentic flavor without feeling heavy.I honestly can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend to anyone who loves fresh, high-quality Italian food!

Had a great lunch at Sorelle in Long Grove. Loved the Caprese salad, Cotto sandwich, and cheese ravioli with vodka sauce—everything was super fresh and flavorful. We split a bread pudding and an affogato for dessert, both excellent. Busy spot with counter service and a really good vibe. Will definitely be back.

What a fun and delicious place to eat. Was there for lunch. Nice portions for the price. Took home some cannolis for after dinner and WOW! As I was leaving I saw a bowl of mussels being served for dinner and will be going back to try them out. When the place was full at lunchtime it was a bit loud, just an FYI for those of you who are going for some great food and talking.

The food is absolutely delicious and tastes like it’s of the highest of quality. I have yet to try something at Sorelle that I don’t enjoy! The staff is kind and courteous, and everyone seems to enjoy their job. I can come here with kids, with girlfriends or with my husband and it’s appropriate for each type of gathering. The decor is super cute and makes you feel like you’re dining in the lemon trees of Italy! From coffee to wine, pastries to sandwiches, gelato to pasta — you can’t go wrong! We go regularly and have enjoyed breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert at Sorelle.

I visited Sorelle for the first time last weekend. I came with my mom who has brain cancer and therefore has mobility issues. From the moment we walked in, we felt so taken care of by the team. A man who I assume was the owner or at least the manager on duty that day was so accommodating and kind, telling my mom how fierce she is and allowing us to sit and place or order at our table instead of waiting at the counter. He also helped her up at the end of our meal and helped me pick out a bottle of wine for a friend. The cafe is so cute and charming, every team member we encountered was pleasant and helpful, and the food was delicious! We already are making plans to come back with more family and friends as this is clearly a business worth supporting.
